just as i thought my life is falling apart, my prayers are being answered. sometimes i wonder how come i always run away and prefer to be alone in times of trouble. but in the midst of a clouded mind, i decided to turn to my friends. so what i learnt from this is never to act strong and try to handle things all by myself. that's what friends are for. am i right? some things are just meant for other people to butt in and help.
and i learnt that telling the truth is always the best solution. thanks to my courage. the speed of my heartbeat is indeed unimaginable while the words slowly slipped away from my mouth. well, minus off the my cries, i think my mom is upset but she seems alright. i hope (= well at least i didn't lose it. in between sobs, i even told her that if i were to lose the mp3, i'd just find a job to repay all the money back.
despite failing to calm myself down, i made a friend while waiting for my turn to show my spoilt mp3 to the customer service. i started asking him where the heck is the queue number. ok. i know i'm selenger and he admitted he didn't know that queue numbers existed if it weren't for the person before him. lol. and so we started telling each other about our mp3 stories.
that was yesterday. today, my mp3 was being replaced with a new one. thanks to shakirah and abit of my sleuthing. no words could describe how happy i was. seeing that disappointed look on my mom's face will be the last thing i want it to happen. you guys could have laughed your asses off if i tell you guys this. i actually borrowed my sister's purple sunglasses to disguise myself. i even went everywhere else. all except the customer service center! i was so afraid the guy who attended to me yesterday would figure out that i asked shakirah to replace my mp3. hah. i'm weird.
on our way back from jp, there were 4 kids at the back of the bus occasionally singing, "batman, superman, alibaba, chicken man!". me and shakirah kept laughing and the mothers of these kids just had to smile at us. so when they alighted the bus, i waved at those adorable kids and they waved back! but we continued laughing even after they left of course. you guys should know me.
oh speaking of kids, there was this one particular time after our structured programme when me, eva and fad decided to hang around at this playground nearby our school. and there were numbers of kids running here and there. and there were pakistani + chinese siblings. there were 3 of them and all of them were drop-dead cute! i straightaway headed towards them. talk about reflex action. heh. i even told the eldest child and said "if you're older, then you'd be very handsome and then you'll have gfs!" followed by nudges from my friends. lol. and when they were about to leave, the second child of age 3 years actually said this, "nanti datang agi eh?". of course i was touched. like ya.
two worries off my chest. one more still lingering around in there. what else? assignments. so far i've touched all subjects except chemistry and literature. but none were completed. so should i be panicking now? i'm expecting to revise and there's like only one week left.
maybe i should start now. heh.
goodnight!
